What is a Chicken Burger Recipe and How to Make Chicken Burger?

A chicken burger recipe is a burger or sandwich made of a grilled or fried patty of chicken and combined with other ingredients and sauces to make it more flavorful. In this burger recipe, we have made crispy seasoned chicken, topped with a slice of melted cheese along with slices of onion, lettuce, tomato, and garlic mayo which will surely win your heart.

Tips to Make Chicken Burger 

  • For condiments, we have used mayo and barbeque sauce,  you use also use base condiment of your choice or you can try this recipe with either Basil pesto or with avocado Auli. 
  • You can also use caramelized onions in this recipe as per your desire. 
  • For low carb recipe, try this recipe without burger buns and make wraps of lettuce. 
  • To make this recipe more delicious, you can add 1/2 tsp of lime juice in the dough of burger patties. It will make your patties more delicious and tangy.

Add chicken in a food processor and process until ground. Once done, transfer it into a large mixing bowl and add flour, black pepper, chopped onions, egg, garlic paste, salt, barbeque sauce and paprika in it. Toss it well and form into 4 equal patties.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet on high flame and add these chicken patties in it. Cook each side of the patty until brown and add some butter on it. Once cooked and set it aside. (You can also grill these patties on a preheated grill).

Also, toast burger buns on the same skillet with the cut side down and toast it till light brown.

Smear the base of the burger with barbeque sauce, sliced tomatoes, burger patties. Add slices of mozzarella and tomatoes, top it with extra barbecue sauce and shredded lettuce leaves. Cover its top and press gently. Serve it with tomato ketchup and enjoy!
