Crack Chicken Tacos is a Mexican dish is spicy, creamy and truly addictive. This delicious and addictive recipe is very healthy and can set your taste buds on fire. Ideal for any party, this chicken recipe is super easy to make at home and takes only 40 minutes to bake.
In this recipe, chicken is rubbed with simple spices mixture and baked thoroughly until crispy. Further, cooked chicken is coated with a barbecue sauce and served in a rolled tortilla with different veggies and herbs along with a drizzle of ranch dressing. Generally, tacos are served on corn tortillas but for this dish, we have used flour tortillas. This crack chicken taco recipe makes a great dinner night meal and super easy to cook at home.
Tips to make Crack Chicken Tacos Recipe:
- You can use corn tortillas for this dish.
- To add some variation in your recipe, add some jalapenos, chopped bell peppers or salsa or shredded cheese to make it more delicious.
To begin with, the recipe, preheat your oven at 430° temperature. Line a parchment paper or cookie sheet in a large-sized baking sheet.
Take a large resealable plastic bag, and add chicken and flour in it. Shake it thoroughly until chicken gets fully coated.
In a small bowl or dish, join panko bread crumbs. Take another similar-sized bowl and beat eggs in it. Dip chicken firstly in eggs, and then in panko bread crumbs until it is fully coated. Transfer the chicken to a prepared baking sheet and further season its pepper and salt
Bake the chicken for 25 minutes until you get golden and crispy chicken.
In the meantime, take a small-sized saucepan and put it over low heat, add barbecue sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and garlic powder to it and heat for a minute. Stir all the ingredients to combine well.
Once the chicken is baked, coat it in the warm prepared sauce mixture.
Your chicken taco is ready. Serve it further in tortillas along with lettuce and top it with ranch dressing.
