What is Paneer Fry and How to make Paneer Fry Recipe
Paneer fry is a simple stir-fried recipe combined with Paneer, onion, tomato, and spices. Very quick enough to prepare, it is a very popular appetizer and available in most Indian restaurants. You can add spices in the recipe as per your taste and preference. This snack recipe is very famous and very easy to prepare. You can pair it well with mint sauce or salad.
Special tips to make Paneer Fry
- Whisk the curd well before adding into the barter.
- Prick the Paneer all over using a fork so it can absorb the marinade well.
- Use fresh Paneer for better taste.
If you are using frozen Paneer for this dish, then rinse it before use and drain down the water completely.
After cutting Paneer into small cubes (in the same size). Add Paneer in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste and salt in it and mix it well.
Add red chili powder, rice flour, corn flour, garam Masala. Curd, lemon juice and black pepper powder, turmeric powder in the mixture and toss it well.
Let this mixture as it is to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Take a thick bottomed pan and heat oil in it. Add marinated paneer pieces in batches in it and let it fry on medium flame till it turns into golden colour.
You can transfer the leftover oil into another bowl and take just 1 tbsp oil in this pan.
Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
Add onion, curry leaves and red chili powder in it and fry it 2 minutes. Add Paneer and sauté this mixture well. Turn off the stove.
Garnish your dish with Coriander. Now, your dish is ready to serve.
