How to Make Portobello Mushroom Burger?
Portobello mushrooms make a perfect alternative to beef and much healthier than that. They are juicy, meaty and healthy. A Portobello mushroom burger recipe is a vegetarian burger prepared with grilled or roasted Portobello mushrooms as a primary ingredient and topped with other accompaniments like onion, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. In this Burger recipe, we have used grilled mushrooms in the buns and topped with some sautéed spinach and tomatoes.
Tips to make Portobello Mushroom Burger Recipes

Preheat the grill on medium heat and grease it with a few drops of olive oil on it.
Trim the stems of clean Portobello Caps and apply some Olive Oil on both sides of it. Season them further with ground black pepper, salt and oregano and place it on the grill. Cook it for 5 minutes or until the mushrooms get soften and grill marks appear on it. Add some cheese in the mushroom caps, and cook till it melts.
Meanwhile, take a mixing bowl and add red bell pepper, onion in it and season it with kosher salt and pepper. add a drop of olive oil. Heat a large skillet on medium flame and cook these red bell pepper and onions in it, stir it occasionally for 5-7 minutes or until lightly browned. Transfer these cooked veggies into a bowl and add spinach leaves to the skillet. Cook it until the spinach crisps. Turn off the flame and keep it aside.
Take chopped avocado and process it into a blender along with garlic, olive oil, coriander, parsley, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Season this paste with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper. Blend this mixture for 30 seconds and scrape it into a bowl.
Warm the buns on the grill or on the skillet until toasted. layer the bottom buns with processed avocado mixture and then put another layer with the mushroom cap, half of the crispy spinach, fried red bell pepper and onions. Cover the burger with the top bun and serve. Enjoy this healthy and delicious burger.
