Roasted potatoes mingled with garlic and rosemary create a wonderful snack dish that is perfect for a wintery night. This dish is very easy to cook at home and needs no extra preparation to make it. Rosemary Garlic Potatoes side dish is very Fragrant, full of flavors can be a perfect appetizer for nearly any meal.
Tips to Make a Rosemary Garlic Potatoes
- You can roast the potatoes in the oven as well. Just bake for 40-50 minutes until they become brown and crisp.
Take a large sized non stick pan and put it on medium heat.. Add enough olive oil to the pan and coat the pan. Combine onion into the pan and saute for 4-5 minutes until they turn translucent. Once done, transfer them to a plate.
Reduce heat to medium / high, add 3-4 tbsp of olive oil into the pan. Add potatoes and cook until well cooked on the outside, stirring often; About 8 minutes.
Keep the heat to low and put the lid on the skillet. Cook the potatoes until they are fork tender. Stir them occasionally and cook for additional 7-8 minutes. (If you notice potatoes sticking to the pan or burning a little, add some more oil into it).
Once cooked, combine onion, garlic, and rosemary to the potato and mix well. Season them with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes no low until the garlic turns aromatic and edges of potatoes turn crisp.
